Location - near tuk com but inside the area, don't believe the maps showing the hotel on the corner of 2nd Rd and South Pattaya Rd.

I think there're at least 2 (probably 3) Day-Night Hotels in South Pattaya. The one you mention has the name "New Day-Night Hotel", but it's at least 6 months since I saw it first time.

I don't know if it's true or not but a thai friend mentioned that the new airport has a taxi/limo-monopoly given to someone in the Thaksin family and that every taxi and limo must pay a fee to the monopoly - so maybe that's the explanation.

Some of the not guestfriendly hotels in BKK are opposite, you must give the name of the girl you'll stay with already at reservation and they check her ID at arrival. But you can bring an extra girl without problem.

It's probable that the new airport will be BKK from september 29th.

I used it one time last year - they told me that they had an extra price 2,900 baht. As I refused to pay that price, same person instead offered me an other limo without paying % to Thai Airways for 2,000 baht, but my limo had TGs logo on the car. The driver had never been in Pattaya before so I had to guide him to the hotel.

Even if I worked in Finland I just learned a few hundred words - olut=beer and ravintola=restaurant 2 necessary - can you translate that - hotelleja is hotel I guess.

Sure, but most think he's perfect and a few that it's bad service. So the question is if he's better than others or not.

I've never used Mr Toom so I think I'm not biased, what I've read I still think he's the best alternative, but not perfect.

I think most airlines reduce the miles earned for the cheapest classes. TG first followed SAS and reduced the 2 cheapest classes in economy (U,W?) to 0 last year, but changed to 50% after a few months.

Just to make clear - Mr T may be a different company than Mr Toon's.

I think the hotel limo service I mentioned above use Mr T, some drivers tried to make me contact directly the company and save the 300 baht for the hotel. I threw away the business card as they were more than hour late after booking directly from Pattaya to BKK.

Bookazine in Big C (Festival Center) usually have a good selection of such books. I recommend Thailand Land of Beautiful Women by Dean Barrett ISBN: 0-9661899-3-0, bought in that shop some years ago for 795 baht. Private Dancer - I've somewhere the complete book as a pdf-file from the days you could find the complete book on internet now there's just a part of it.

Probably more for a new insurance at that age, I guess they also ask for a medical examination first. Else I've heard 30-60 k, depending age and sex, ladies who want insurance to cover births must pay 50 k extra the first year I think.

My advice is that if you're coming to Pattaya for the first time or don't know the location of your hotel to book the transport from the hotel. Normal price is 1,300 baht (300 baht to hotel of that), toll roads 145 baht + airport parking around 25 baht depending on how long time waiting. With any other limo/taxi-service be prepared to show the way to the hotel as most/almost all drivers are from BKK.

Note that you can fly Phuket-Koh Samui-Utapao (Pattaya).

Just avoid hotels with expensive dinners on christmas eve and NYE, also book hotel early as many thais come to Pattaya over christmas and NY.
