i have stayed at areca lodge i cant praise it enough, friendly staff, everything spotlessley clean... i will stay there again on my next trip, .... 'short' ... where are the better hotels? -
residence gardens is good but out of the way, you have to get a baht bus and they are full of russians, usually end up walking as all russians are going back and forth to jomtien

ive just purchased a lock from amazon .... called 'milockie' if you google it you can see it, if you put it in youtube you can see how it works .. it acts as a secondry lock on your room safe, its not an anti theft device as it could be easely smashed off, but you would have evidence to the hotel owners that your safes been broken into, some staff just skim a couple of thousand baht off your wad, which you cant prove... if they have broken your lock you can prove that staff or someone has been in your safe .... STAY 'SAFE' OUT THERE !!

bangkok ... hua hin if anyone is interested there are luxury mini buses go from victory monument in bangkok to hua hin centre , very cheap, cant remember the price , but very reasonable, they park just of the victory monument in a side street near the hospital,

excellent travel report with really good pictures, i myself travel alone, like you said firth ''no arguments as to where your going, and do what you want'' as for me i want to go where i want, eat what i want ,,eat when i want, go to bar when i want ,go to hotel when i want , get up when i want.... hard part is telling all my friends in england that i dont want them to go to thailand with me .... and you never get lonley in thailand .. -

i have stayed at r.g. many times, if your in your room a lot and like to cook in your room this is the place, big t.v. , cooking hob, pots n pans, nives n forks, dining table, settee for afternoon boom boom, seperats bedroom with big t.v. , great staff and helpfull, good resturaunt, cant fault it,

ive been with emirates for 3 years, good flight,good everything, flights are always full, use them regular and get your silver card, then you can upgrade to buisness class, also with a silver card you can go in the lounge and get free drinks and food, i like emirates, top class....

for emirates..click on the "skywards" link to join there freequent flyers..its free. then when your a member you can book your seats... i have just booked with emirates to go january 6th.. return january 24th for £486 .....

if your on "aol" that might be your problem.... they block e mails because they think its spam... ive just had problems joining huahinafterdark.com i blamed them for not replying, they got someone else to e mail me to say all the mail sent from them to me was bounced back .....

ive been thinking about buying a nouvo.. how much did you pay ? i priced them in hua hin but each shop was a different price, cant remeber how much but think they were about 50,000 baht, and can a farang legaly buy and register one ?
