Cannot understand anybody who critcizes any offer made by a bar owner. If you don't like it, then don't don't participate. I actually think it's a good touch by Mulphy and I love LK Metro. There is also a very good Beer bar complex round the corner in Soi Dianna.

1) The restaurant I have been to is the Buffet at the Montien Hotel on Second Road. A little pricey 550 Baht all you can eat, but suoerb Seafood. Lobster tails, Crab, Oysters, Delicious Mussels. Also does Steaks, Roast dinners and numerous other dishes. Wel worth the money IMO for a nice experience. 2) Tequila Reef in Soi 7 - Excellent Mexican foos with large portions. 3) Premiership Football - Excellent Farang Food. Again massive protions and superb Burgers 4) The Thai Barbecue near Big C. Not sure of the Soi. Ok this is cheap and the quality of food is probably not the greatest,

Stayed one night in September and had no problems. Brought 2 girls up and they never took anything. No bugs. The Jacuzzi was good but I had quite a small one (jacuzzi - that is!). The Podium was great and they both enjoyed the Prno chanell. I had a few DVD'S in my bag anyway and put them on. Did not have any food. The only crticism was that the TV showing Kittens A Go Go was hardly visible, but not worth worrying about as very few lookers. I would recommend it to anyone who has a few extra Baht in their pocket and fancies a 3some for a special treat for a night!!

The only Pizza I have ever eaten is at F L B before the Bar Crawl. Always tastes good when it's free

Ben On my last trip I actually spent time in all 3 of the Hotels you are interested in. If you are looking for cleanliness then you will have no problem with the Jasmine. I would envisage that you will not encounter any of the situations I came across, which have now been exhausted on this thread and as far as I am concerned no bad feelings are harboured towards anybodies comments. No business will ever have a 100% rating. The only thing I will say is that if you are on the 4th floor if the pressure on the shower has not increased, this may be a slight problem. Felt it necessary to give an account of my experience of this Hotel. You can draw your own conclusions. I will tell everything exactly as it was After a recommendation from a friend and reading a couple of reviews I decided to give the Jasmine in Soi Boukhow a try. Price was reasonable and it had a Bath tub which I like. I booked 6 days and was looking to to maybe extend if all was Ok. I arrived a day early and they had the same room I booked available. It was a deluxe room on the fourth floor. The Hotel does not have a lift, which is not a complaint because this was clearly explained

I was thinking about ebay to fund a long trip to LOS. However a story I heard was that there was a Farang power seller in Thailand who made about 50k in a year. However one day he went to draw some money out of the ATM and his bank account had been frozen. I dont really know the full details however.

If it were me on your budget I think I would try and get a live in who is prepared to work. Say she earns 5k let her keep it all and give her the 7k difference. That then leaves you with an extra 5k plus plenty of free time to do whatever with it. Soi 6 springs to mind. Or is this just me with my Mongering head on ??
