Cafe uno on Soi Khao Noi is the best Sunday dinner I have ever had in Pattaya! Get nourished and pop round the corner to Dao bar for a 3some short time. Can't beat Sundays like that.

Should be able to just book for a month and just say something cropped uo after 23rd day?

Talking of iphones. Does anyone know how to get ringtones from itunes onto the phone. I am so thick!

But I still make the odd mistake after nearly 20 trips. Nobody can master Pattaya after 1 week. Good luck with the book. I am sure you had a lot of fun writing it. I will pick up a copy when I come over next. Always enjoy reading any book about Thai bar girls.

Not stayed at Opey but know a couple of pals who have. Apparantly there is one part a lot better than the other. A bit late now but can find out more info if you want mate.

Thanks for the info Flew Jet last time and had no problems. Ok it wasnt 5 star and Mumbai is not that great but so what. For £380 its a steal. I would go with Jet ahead of Thai if they were the same price. Thai has detoriated very badly in the last 3 years and must be one of the only airlines that have a direct flight over 10 hours with no personal TV.

Stayed at Rockhouse and Kilkenny. Both excellent value rooms and both have very good bars to drink in. You wont be disappointed with either.

Matey you will get lots of smart repiles doing an initial post like this. IF You are really new to the board, then divulge as much information from this board and maybe 1 or 2 more boards. We were all in your situation once matey and i am still making fuck ups after god knows how many trip,s so it aint gonna be plain sailing. Having said that you are going to the best city in the world so hey, You will either fall in love or you will take it to a duck like to water ha ha. There is no rational about the place. The only advice I can give is to bring a 1/3 more of your of your budget and

Get yourself a good meal in Cafe Uno. Then go round the corner for a short time in Dao Bar (Great bar for 3somes) and then pop up to Noi's bar for a few. Great way to start an evening!!

Stayed at Sabai also. Hotel and location is fine. For a newbie I would also look at Areca Lodge which has a good location in Soi Diana. Nice room, No joiner fees and two nice pools. Approx 1200 a night.

Flew Thai air last trip. Was so disappointed. Firstly they cancelled my 9.30pm flight offering me a day flight instead. 12 hour flight with no entertainment in this day and age is very poor. Food and service is still ok however.

I noticed that the Premiership football place next door was closed down last month also. Times are tough in Diana me thinks

There is a nice open air Thai restaurant open all night in Soi Boukhow. Half way between Sawsdee hotel and the day market on the same side of the road. It is reasonably priced and all the TG's I have took there were very impressed. A lot of TG's go there when they finish work. In April the menu was all Thai, but now its translated. There is no Farang food at all here.

Denny I had a chipped tooth that started playing me up. She put a temp filling for 1000 baht and said the root canal treatment etc would be 15000 baht. This was the dentist near the night market in Soi Boukhow which is quite good by all accounts.

Me and Prince spent a lot of time here on our trip. As we would generally hit a few beer bars before WS, its such a perfect place to visit in between. I never ate any food there so cannot comment on that but there was a steady flow of FL's which seemed to increase daily. I will be very interested to see how things are in a few months when I return. The girls we took in also liked the place and were asking lots of questions. It can only be a matter of time before the word gets round and more FL's start to come. Don't go in there at the moment and expect it to be like the Berr Garden in BKK
