Yeah it does and its nice but quite small and doesnt get much sun. Instead i just walk 2 mins over the road and use the Dolphin pool at the View Talay condos. As long as you buy drinks or food they dont seem to mind you using the facilities. Just so you know, the area the hotel is in (Soi 4) is a shithole and under redevolpment. The hotel looks very out of place considering the surroundings but its very nice and well insulated etc. Even with massive fireworks going off outside all xmas and new year it didnt make things unpleasant or too loud.

Thanks for the info above, I stayed here over xmas and new year and it was excellent. Very plush hotel and nice staff, no problems with guests, reasonable bar and food prices. My standard suite room at 1500 baht a night was a good size with a decent bed, well equiped kitchen, proper hot water and always very clean. I'll certainly stay again.

Just my two pennies worth, I've owned many motorcycles in England and have been unfortunate enough to be hit by other cars twice. (People dont look for bikes). I've had a total of 16 bones broken and 6 major operations. One time was both wrists, both knees, my sternum and a vertebra in my neck. (I couldnt even wipe my own arse!) Now i'm not sure which hospitals are worse, English or Thai? (English hospitals are incompetent and just plain awful having spent such a large amount of time in them) Thai actually, I think are better at some things. Been reading some interesting stuff on the new airport, but where is it in relation to Pattaya? how many miles etc. Also anybody know when it will open, according to thier website it should be open allready. I've stayed a couple of times, pretty nice hotel and everything is new and clean. I upgraded my room last time for an extra 500 baht and ended up with a massive two bedroom apartment with 3 Tvs 2 bathrooms etc. Guest freindly oh breakfast is crap, but whos up for breakfast anyway....

I was told they've charged for guests from the beginning, too expensive and overrated in my opinion anyway. You can get better for less money elsewhere

I've also used a dentist on the road by the Alcazar for laser teeth whitening (inbetween Gregs and the Alcazar) the had a pretty good setup and probably do general dentistry too.

I've used the dentist down soi 4 twice, Its in the hospital building so you cant miss it. The one i use is a female dentist. Very freindly, clean and good equipment. Also much much cheaper than England as you can expect. I doubt i'll use my UK dentist ever again.

To be honest as long as i get there I don't care. I know everything will make up for a poor journey once i've arrived. My limit for a flight is about £600 as I travel to thailand often, I'd usually use quantas but they wanted about £1k for xmas and I refuse to spend that. Not being tight but as you all know the £400 quid difference goes a long way in Thailand. My tickets arrived two days after i made the booking

I flew Etihad in October (£380 quid) and can honestly say my first leg of the journey was my best flight ever. The plane was brand new and also empty, it had touch screen on demand TV and the service and food was excellent. It was so new there was a guy a few seats down still configuring one of the touch screen tvs. You even had a camera option so you could see from the nose and the aft of the plane on takeoff and landing. very freaky! Ok it sounds well dodgy but i've booked with Uzbeckistan airways, its a 3hr stopover but was only £470 for an xmas flight. I fly the 23rd December coming back the 3rd of Jan which suits me perfectly Now its just another agonising wait to get out of this awful country...
