  1. rate today 39.5,rate pre brexit vote 51.5,a nice 20%+ drop,btw i dont live in the UK or thailand.
  2. yes,the room i checked was on the left as you come walk away from the reception,small yes but cheap.
  3. i booked direct with the hotel when i was in pattaya in sep,i arrive 6 jan staying 14 nights,i paid 2000bt deposit. the price per night was 950bt a ngt standard room,which i thought was cheap for the high season,i would think asiarooms would be more than that.i have never stayed there but i had a look at the room and altough small i think iwas still good value.
  4. the building of the new terminal is causing delays,my last trip the bus driver could not find the plane for about,made the journey from the terminal to getting of the bus 20-25 mins,another thing that seems to be happening alot is passengers checked in not getting to the gate,then removig their bags,this happened on 3 of the 4 legs my last journey,1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hour delays,not good for such a good airline.

    my mates case was 21 kg recently,and if i remember correctly it was defeinetly less than 500 bt.never heard of this 7% thing
  9. flown with rj twice and always alcohol available,would use them again no problem,no entertainment but decent food and staff,both times was given a hotel room at the airport for the 7-8 hour stoppover,so got about 4 hours sleep.i think the no booze arab airline is kuwait airways
  10. cannot use the lounge at newcastle,have to be gold status.
  11. could you tell me if there is a lounge i can use at newcastle airport,with my skywards silver status.
  12. with my airmiles i still have until sep 2009,so surely i would be better off building my miles up further before i cashed in for a free flight as you aquire more when you maintain silver status.
  13. good news for me too,as iam flying to bkk in november,hould have about 65000 miles after this trip,i beleive 75000 is enough for a free one.
  14. just reached silver status with emirates,could anybody tell me what the lounge is like at dxb airport,food ,drink etc
  15. no way is the seat pitch 31/32 on thai air asia domestic routes.more like 28.possibly 29 at best.

  18. i booked last week going in sept with emerates from NCL £451.00 with opodo but they had a £20 discount promotion on,so £431.00 used debit card no charge and no booking fee,iAM in their skywards ff club also.so a good deal allround,as i dont think the fare will stay this low for long.
  19. agree with vidman,its the palm garden.a place you never seem to see advertised anywhere,or on asia rooms,sawadee etc,actually not in a bad spot though.
