Looks like the end for this airline as i understand last nights flight into LHR has been impounded for late payment of fees.

Qatar Airlines have just announced first B787 will now operate on Doha-Heathrow route from Oct this year which will free up a A330-200 to operate Doha-Manchester thus returning double daily from Man.

KLM/Air France have flights from Manchester in May/June with short layovers in Amsterdam/Paris sub £500- Have seen some flights for £467.00 ! See Kayak and Skyscanner. I wonder if EY/EK/QR will respond ?

Getting there - SQ will now be daily from Manchester except for April/May/Oct.

Both Emirates and Etihad had recent sales so i suspect less availability with these airlines.

Stand corrected : A330-200 = 27 in fleet.

As from 1st Sept 12 Emirates will replace A300-200 with B777-300ER- 2 class aircraft.

Since SQ routed flights via Munich loads have gone from on average 60 to 154 a flight and more interesting has been the recent increase in premium seats sold from Manchester. Coupled with the usual high freight loads (100% most flights) and SQ pricing Y flights around £520 mark something is telling me direct flights could be back sooner than we think.
