It surprises me that the price is about the same as the U.K. How do the Thai's afford the drugs? Say a policeman on 11k baht a year - how could he afford say 400 baht on one inhaler? Maybe there is a Thai price and a ferrang price?

Hi 1. SALBUTAMOL 100micrograms/inhaler (reliever) 200 dose. 2. BECLOMETASONE DIPROPIONATE 100micrograms/inhaler (preventative) 200 dose. In England, one is a brown inhaler and the other is blue. Any feedback really appreaciated.

Hi all. My asthma is well managed, but I do need my two inhalers. I plan to ask my Doctor for a triple perscription, just before I leave, so I should have enough. However, I will be in big trouble if I lose them or run out. Do Boots or any other pharmacy, sell asthma inhalers over the counter? OR will I need to see a Pattaya doctor first, in order to get a perscription? Thanks

Thanks - Yes I know the Natwest and Nationwide system, I use it myself and understand what you are saying. They ask for different details each time. So when one inputs alpha/numerics, like hf4h - these appear as **** on the screen. Can the keystoke logging program - record the hf4h - OR - does it register as ****. Thanks

I know it's dangerous - due to key stroke logging programs. Can these programs detect a drop down menu and/or the traditional password entry -which appears like *******? Hi all. I enquired via - sawadee.com - for accomodation at Areca Lodge - deluxe, pool view, double - 1190baht a night. I asked for quote for 30 days, specifically requesting a discount for one month. I received a reply stating the room is available - but they cannot offer a discount and the price is - 35700baht 1. Is this unreasonable? If I called the hotel directly, would I have more luck? If I just booked three days to start with, intending to negoiate upon my arrival, can I be reasonably assured the room will be available for one month? 2. Hi Steve Yes, my feeling is 2500 is a bit stingy, as I enjoy buying a drink or two for my woman. I'm starting to conclude that for a holiday, if you can't afford 4k a day, then one may as well stay in U.K. and do some overtime! Oh boy, am I gonna have some fun with 5k a day! My only fear is having to much alcohol and gettign ripped off my bar girl in hotel room, when I fall asleep. Guess, I will have to be very careful.

After hotel, airport pick up/return and clothing allowance my 'playing' money is either: 5000 a day for 4 weeks OR 2500 a day for 8 weeks. Obviously, 5000 a day is enough for a good time and Long Time Bar Girl, but I wonder how I might cope on 2500 a day. How many of you guys could have a good time on 2500 a day? I like a few beers and one woman most days. Do you think 2500 is enough?

Hi guys and girls. I'm considering traveling light and purchasing some clothes, on my second or third full day. Sort of quality I'm after is the British 'Next' type of thing or perhaps some of the better stuff in Marks and Spencer. So as a general rule of thumb, a nice shirt in the above stores might cost £25, a pair of shorts, £20 and a fashionable pair of trousers, £30. What would similar quality clothes cost in a good department store in Pattaya? Thanks in advance

For quite a decent hotel, wanting 1500 baht a day, in low season (1500 * 30 = 45000 baht) what is reasonable to offer as monthly rate? Would they accept 25000 baht, for one month?

That's all well and good. However, how can you possibly place your passport and cards in a reception, safety deposit box, with the knowledge that a member of staff, a complete stranger, has a key! Makes me sweat thinking about it!

Looks like a good hotel and a BIG PLUS is the rooms have a digital safe, which for me is crucial. I don't trust the staff at reception. 1. Is breakfast included? 2. Does one choose your own code for the safes? 3. Is the hotel 'lady' friendly? Thanks
