Areca Lodge or Inn House Hotel (Pattaya)

Hi all,

 

Doubing right now whether to stay in Areca Lodge or Inn House Hotel (Soi 13) during my stay in Pattaya next month. Any good suggestions ?? How's the construction-noise right now near Soi 13 ??

I'll join the Areca fan club too, but if you decide to stay there it is essential to have a reservation.

It is a very popular hotel, and I'll be back for my 8th visit in early February.

Rate: 1190 baht room with pool view; slighty less if on the other side with no pool view.

Location: About 200 metres off 2nd Road on Soi Diana, which is opposite Mike shopping Mall.

I know nothing about Areca Lodge but have stayed at Inn House on my last 2 visits. Have negotiated rate of 860 baht for best rooms so its obviously cheaper than Areca. Very clean, very modern, very convenient. Right opposite the Sportsman (or is it Sports Bar?) which does excellent breakfasts and other meals.

 

Only downside was that I had to ask to move room on my last stay because of the construction noise. But hotel has no control over that so can hardly be blamed.

 

Will go back to Inn House provided construction work finished.
