Eva Airlines - Have You Flown Them?

Recommended Posts

I was checking out some ticket prices for my second trip to LOS. Eva has a great deal but I know nothing about them. I've only ever taken US airlines. Because the trip from Chicago to BKK takes about a full day I want to make sure that I'm not stuck on a Greyhound with wings.

Anybody flown them before? What did you think?

Evergreen Deluxe Class is fine and well worth the extra cash. It's my current first choice. I believe Economy/Coach Class is OK but no personal experience.

EVA IMHO is a great value and as others have mentioned it is well worth the relatively few extra bucks to upgrade to Evergreen Deluxe - bigger seats that recline with footrests, personal movie screen, more overhead storage space and seperate (shorter) check-in lines at the airports and you get to board the plane earlier. It is not quite business class - but way above coach class :D

Picked up my ticket from Ours Travel yesterday, going out on the 7th.

With leaving it late plus the Chinese New Year I am only confirmed in economy, if I cannot wangle an upgrade I'll just have to O/D on Gin and Tonics and Melatonin
