Classroom Charity Tournament

[gp2002]

Hello guys....

Just wondering if anyone has played in the Classroom Charity Tourney in the past??

IS it a good deal??

2,000 baht > 1/2 cart, green fee, caddie fee, golf hat, buffet and prizes.

It's a stableford singles format and being played at St. Andrews 2000.

I am thinking of entering by myself so if anyone is interested, let me know.

I am currently a 6 hdcp (not that it matters).

Cheers....gp

Played st andrew's about 3 year ago one tuff trek they even have a par 6 over water twice(with a wood) and you have got to take a buggy.

hope this helps.

Thats a good deal GP. Would cost almost same midweek with PSC discount card without the gift, buffet or prizes.

I am back in March if you want to get a round in.

Would love to play in it; when is it this year? I may need to talk my company into an urgent business trip to our Bangkok office. I'm a Classroom regular (when I'm in Pattaya), and divide my nighttimes between there and FLB. (And last time I looked my index was a 5 and rising.)

Thanks for the replies.....

It looks like I will give it a shot. I haven't played St. Andrews yet so I am looking forward to it.

Moby....check your mail

Hub....be more than happy to play when you get here. I started a new job not far from Pattaya so it shouldn't be a problem to play on the weekends. Let me know when you get here.

Cheers....gp

FYI (for next year)...

Just to let you know I played in the Classroom Tourney and had a great time. I joined up with Moby69 and a couple of his buddies from the UK.

It was a great afternoon and the price was well worth it........considering I ended up winning the "A" flight ( and received a Taylor Made golf bag).....haha!!!

I hope to defend the title next year!!!

Cheers......gp

PS......Thanks again Moby!!!

What does the "A" stand for?

Keep me in the lower flights with the hackers.

Drop you an IM next month when I am in town, maybe you can exact revenge via some skins, but after reading your last post will clearly be expecting double digit strokes.
