I just got back from Pattaya and had a great pleasure playing with doghouse. He has great skills for organising any kind of Golf event.

We played some 6 rounds in different courses and everything run smoothly. I just needed to be outside my hotel. A really great guy .

If you want everything to be in order and work use this guy´s services I highly recommend him.

Reference for Chairman Doghaus,

To all prospective clients,

If you are looking to get in three practice holes in your hotel before heading out to the course, Doghaus will patiently understand.

If you enjoy the odd BJ in the rough to help ease the pain of another triple bogey, let Doghaus pick your caddy, ... or him.

If you enjoy throwing your drunken tour leader in the back of a baht bus and summoning security to escort the legless lollipop to his room, call Callum.

If you enjoy playing courses in 50 degree heat with no hope of a beer due to rest stand 'repairs', Doghaus knows the course.

If you enjoy traveling in luxurious, fully airconditioned buses where the driver believes Sri Racha is that little island near India, Callum will book him.

If you ever need to borrow 'sun screen' to attract every fly, bug or ant within 50 kilometers, Doctor Doghaus has the stuff for you.

If you enjoy losing 'bark off your tree' while attending meeting after meeting at the local 'chambers of commerce', i.e. Soapies, Callum will soothe your worries.

And lastly, if you enjoy following the weekly travels of The International Man of Leisure while you slave away flipping frankfurts, Callum's your Hero!

Wanker! :chogdee :nod

Callum's a great organizer and a true gentleman and the only bad word you'll ever hear about the bloke is about the frequency of him dropping his daks on the golf course and blowing greens, ... oops, bowling greens. B)

Mister C.....

A company called Thai-ger golf does golf packages.

When I was in their store to get a club repaired, a group of tourists were in there getting their itineraries.

Do a search and you should find their website.

Cheers.....gp :beer

Mister C and Others Interested,

I've been to Thailand on 4 occasions and my wife and I enjoy golfing greatly. Thailand has a number of great golf course and caddies that treat you well. If you are looking a stamp of approval I can speak from experience that doghaus is your man. My recommendation if you're looking for someone you can trust, is a great organizer of golfing events, and will give you, so to speak, a good bang for your buck, then doghaus and Solor Travel would be a good choice.

I am confident you and your friends can trust the new travel company, Solor Golf & Travel, he is involved with to preform as promised and at a fair cost.

Only one thing I might warn you about, on occasion, poor old doghaus does not always get his ball past the ladies tee box, thus being required to drop his drawers, as a penalty, and then hit his ball. It may happen more than once per round, depending on his previous evenings activities? This rule was introduced to doghaus by myself and thumper^ on one of our first rounds of golf together. He really is a good sport and he will put together a good, fun, and cost effective golfing package for you.

Just 295 day 9 hours 24 minutes 28 seconds then wheels up and off to LOS Pattaya, Thailand. . . but who's counting?

Regards,

2guns

I agree with the others, Doghaus voa Solar did a great job organizing our trip to Kanchanaburi during November.

He picked the same courses I would have picked and took the group into consideration when setting schedule/etc. He is also able to setup some great packages because of relationships he has developed with the courses and hotels. An example is that the last night of the trip, he booked those of us staying in bangers into a hotel near the airport for around 2,400 baht. The room I got was in the executive wing and was much nicer than the rooms I had at both the JWmarriott and Westin during my trip.

Think carefully MisterC - do you have any self respect for the health of your liver - if so beware of Solar Golf. :D :D :D

Honestly M'8, I have been fortunate enough to have played in Doggie organised golf functions and tours over the past 3 years and can't wait to get back for more.

He is a first class organiser and you will not be sorry if you choose Solar Golf for your tour requirements.

Just as an aside, I can recall last trip we were heading off on our bus from the hotel in Pattaya on our golf tour to Khancanaburi and there were a group of about 15 disgruntled Koreans outside the hotel. As it turned out, they also were on a golf tour, there transport to one of the local Pattaya courses had arrived an hour late, they had missed their tee time and when we left they were still trying to find out where the course actually was as their driver had no idea. Moral of the story, as you seem to realise, use a reputable tour operator and as mentioned you will not go wrong with Solar.

Thanks for all the references guys!

I haven't heard from Mister C. I guess all those warnings about the potential damage to his liver and the high risk of seeing my bare arse on the ladies tee have scared him off. Maybe he has taken GP2002's advice and got eaten by a tiger instead!

Ignore Dungheap's comments, all the damage was self-inflicted and this behaviour is not compulsory!

Hub is right, we do get some good deals from hotels - especially in low season. Hub fails to mention that he got the best deal of all - he forgot to pay his bill when he checked out! We paid it for him - all part of the service.

Hope to see you all golfing soon. All the logistics are in place to organise golf even when I am not in town so just PM or mail me if you want me to put a programme together. For the masochists, I will be in town week commencing 6th March with a group of golfers from the UK and I will be pleased to add additional golfers to this group.

Cheers

I assume we are all square now that I have misrepresented your tours as oustanding and reputable.

I forgot to mention the special "turndown service" Solar provides during the evening portions of the tours. This occurs around three am, when Doggie stumbles into your hotel room and tries to shag your BG. :D

I will be around late March. Are you still considering Chang Mai for November?

Hi Hub

Touche!

You seem to refer to the incident when I organised the tour to Kanchanaburi with a strict no partners rule. And guess who decided to turn up with a TG in tow! I still chuckle at the sight of Big Kev and Fornicator in the back of the bus with that tiny TG sandwiched between them. Great trip! The only problem we now have is that I already have requests from at least 2 TG's to accompany the gang on the next golf road trip! Su and Sai from Kittens have already booked their seats on the bus!

I am hoping to get a trip to Chiang Mai on the November agenda if enough guys are interested. I would probably schedule the trip for the 2nd or 3rd week in November and finish up in BKK. A 4 day trip with 3 rounds of golf would be about right. The weather is great at that time of year.

It looks like we will miss each other in March. If I do go out with my group, I will return to UK around 17th March. Hope to catch you next trip.

All the best.

Doggie

OK Mister C

There is a programme running in early March. Golf days in Pattaya 8th, 9th and 11th March followed by a trip to Phuket on 13th March for 4 nights and 3 golf rounds. Just let me know if you want to join in.

Regards

Doggie
