Your reviews of the Grottino-BKK and LEK-PTY

I would appreciate hearing some opinions about the Grottino in Bangkok and the LEK hotel in Pattaya.

I and a buddy of mine are planning to stay in these hotels and I was wondering if we made a good chice?

The Grottino is 1700 Baht and the Lek is 1200 for a standard room in the new wing.

I stayed at Lek hotel for two weeks at the end of january. It was the new wing. The even numbers don´t have a balcony and are facing the street. I changed my room to an uneven numbered and although it was smaller I preferred it with balcony facing the swimming pool.

 

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really good for 95Baht.

Large fridge in the rooms and a beer only 35 Bahts.

 

I was very satisfied and would stay again. But I don´t have any comparison in Pattaya so my judgement is based on that.

I stayed in the Lek, also in January.

The rooms are very clean, and the satff friendly.

I liked it very much.

I've been in other Hotels in Pattaya (Royal Twin Palace, and the Penthouse), but I preferred the Lek.

Stayed at the Lek last Sept. Perfectly good. I was in the old wing, and the new wing is nicer. Breakfast is a great bargain. Didn't try the dinner buffet, but it's also reasonable priced. Be sure to check out the hotel reviews section. Both Lek and Grottino are reviewed there.

I stayed at grottino. very good hotel. widescreen flat tv. wireless internet in room excellant ac very modern rooms. top notch service and maybe 50 meters from robinsons. close to skytrain and girl friendly all for 1500 baht. Hard to get rooms it is very popular with bkk tonight members.
