Getting from terminial 2 to 3 on Heatrow

Am I cutting it too close by landing on terminal 2 at 20.10 and depart from terminal 3 at 21.30. I wil just have hand baggage. The save bet is landing at 11.40 and wait.

nah you should be ok! its walking distance ive never gone from one terminal to the other but as long as you dont have to collect your luggage it should be great!

It's many years since I've used Terminal 3 and then I did walk from there to Terminal 1. There is now a shuttle bus seervice between Terminals 1&2 and Terminal 3, but so long as your incoming flight is on time, you shouldn't have any problems.

 

Terminal 4 is quite a bit further away and only takes me half an hour with hand luggage only.

You will be cutting it fine mate, but it should be possible. The walk is not too far but do you have to go through immigration and then check in again? May be a wait at immigration or can you stay airside?

If you stay airside maybe they can whizz you between the two terminals on one of those buggys.

Taltos you should be ok but any delays from your first flight you might end up in a hotel.Once i flew from belfast to heathrow for a connection to bangkok i can not remember which terminal but i had to wait 15 mins for a bus to collect me and other passangers along with slow checkin just about made my flight.When i used to fly china airlines to bangok i would fly from manchester to amsterdam we were delayed 1 hour in manchester due to heavy rain,which meant they had no time to load the bags on to connecting flight and receieved luggage the next day in pattaya.It was a mad dash to catch the connecting flight if we were delayed anymore in manchester we would of missed the connecting flight,the next trip we took an earlier flight to amsterdam even though we had to wait 3 hours in amsterdam at least there was room for delays.If i was you i would take the earlier flight to heathrow

Always the danger of having to make a few extra laps around Heathrow before landing.

Thanks for the anwers. I am going to take the safe route and land at 11.40. It is 43 pounds more expencive (5.000ISKR) but if I miss the flight the hotel will be more.
