The combinaton of an in-room safe and a fully functioning bath tub may prove to be a difficult combination to find. The RG may have a few tubs, I'm not sure. You may have to settle for an outdoor jacuzzi. My guess is that bath tubs are considered an inefficient use of space in newer hotels, unless they are high end.

Bella Villa Prima Soi 4 has exactly what you asked, not sure on price but if you like Soi 2,3,4 I think you would be very happy here. I stayed a few weeks ago and was impressed with their suites. Cheers

I realize I am in the minority, but if you are willing to pay 1000 baht I suggest you not even think about Baybreeze. The two rooms I saw were perilously close to "dump" status. I have had much cleaner, albeit smaller rooms for 300 on Soi 13/2.

Informations about the "New Sabai Resort" (old Weekender Hotel):

Originally they intended to open the New Sabai Resort on May 2005. But they need more time for finishing. They write as follows about the New Resort:

A deluxe pool view (terace),these large room feature spacious terrace facing and near swimming pool

a comfortable room complete with large living room and king size bed with ensuite large shower room.

and specail offer for grand openning only : 1,950.-night.

And further (on April 18, 2005)...

I' m very sorry and apologize, Sabai resort maybe cannot be open on time.

becuase of Telephone & tap water system problem.we cannot finish it on time.

(During last week , cannot work, becuase , Thai New Year, it long weekend

in Thailand..most of people had holiday.) and also some still work in lobby area :

The Bella Villa on Soi 4 has major hotel construction going on right next door, toward Beach Rd, and with only a handful of workers laying bricks, I suggest it will last at least another year. So if you're booking here insist on a room on the 2nd road side.

The suites with the baths are up in the 1800 baht range.

Sorry, I think you can do better for the price and noise, though the room service/restaurant food is, or was, top notch, for a hotel anyhow.
