Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

Don't know anything about this, but I think you're right to be suspicious. Maybe a phone call to one of the airlines that supposedly is backing this might help.

Slightly different, but the other day I received an e-mail advising me that I had "won" 250,000 or so euro in a lottery. I always thought that to win on a lottery you had to enter it first! :chogdee I didn't investigate their claim any further but somehow I think that in order to claim my "prize" I would have to send them 1,000 euro up front as an "administration charge". Of course, I would never see the 250,000 euro :P

Most North American airlines sell their points to members or others, usually in relatively small amounts. Often its just to let some-one top up their account to get to a desired reward level. This outfit appears to just do it for a variety of airlines.

The key question is whether the sale is worth it. I just checked your link for 10 seconds and this outfit appears to be a ripoff. They are selling points at U.S.0.04/mile. Most valuations of airline points would put their value at 2 cents/mile so this outfit is charging twice their value. I wouldn't buy them.
