Used this service and was pleased with it. Took awhile to get through immigration but was greeted with a sign when i came out and off we went. Had several beers on the way at no extra charge and felt secure from the references on this site and being my first time to pattaya I liked that feeling. Jan showed me a few of the streets and shopping locations before dropping me off at my hotel. Really nice lady and good service especeally for newbies. I would use this service again.

My Jan. 9th flight arrived in BKK at the ungodly hour of 1:40 AM. Unfortunately, it was late arriving at 2:00 AM. Then, to add insult to injury EVA had left my checked bag in Los Angeles. By the time I filled out the appropriate form and exited the airport it was after 2:30 AM, but Jan was there patiently waiting and holding a sign with my name on it.

 

While we were driving to Pattaya, Jan said, If you will give me a copy of your passport and a copy of the claim form, I will pick up your bag for you when I come back to the airport at about 10 AM. I said that would be just fantastic. When we got to the Areca, I had the appropriate copies made and gave them to Jan.

 

At about 11 AM, she called to say the bag did not make EVA’s last flight out of LAX and was expected tonight on the same flight I had taken the previous day. Jan said she was coming back to BKK the next day and would get my bag at that time.

 

The next day (Jan. 10th) at about 11 AM, Paul called me to say that Jan was in BKK at the airport and had found out that EVA had sent my bag to Pattaya during the night and that it had been delivered to the hotel. I wandered down to the lobby and inquired and lo and behold the bag was there.

 

This is just another example of the great service offered by Paul and Jan. It’s not often you find a car service that will take the initiative to follow up on lost or undelivered luggage. Their prices are a bit more than some of the others serving the BKK-Pattaya route, but the level of service provided justifies the additional expense. If you are coming to Pattaya and going to be needing car service, I recommend Jan and Paul.

These comments ain't bogus. This is a good service and worth all of the extra few dollars it costs. If you are scraping by on a vacation, you take what risks you choose to with unknown, unrecommended service. If you actually have a few dollars or pounds to your name, this is a place they would be well spent.

Hi i used this service arriving Bangkok 10th february and returned to BKK 4th March. On arrival at BKk jan was waiting with clear sign near front,vey easy to spot. jan is an excellent driver friendly and knowledgeable,nice comfortable vehicle,cold drinks available enroute. i have been to thailand a few times now and this is the best service i have used,would particularly recommend to 1st time visitors and i will use again( as long as doesn`t get over booked with all the recommendations!! .)

Just wanted top confirm what a good service Jan provides.

Bangkok - Pattaya and return last week at the end of the holiday.

the soaps here for thais are 10 times worse than ours .

look at the bar girls when they come on when their working,they almost forget about you....yes it would be terrible for sasa to turn out to be another kyle.

the way she is singing and looking at 5 yrs old ..just maybe..

thats why i want her to have that lay back OZ attitude,and take her back for long hols.

I would like to add comments about the service provided by Jan and Paul. I used Jan both from and to BKK. Jan was punctual and great company on both journeys. She even patiently listened to all my ramblings on how much of a good time I had in Pattaya on the return leg. The service may cost a bit more than others but I think it is money well spent.

Hi simon.any other dates would have been fine,jan has an 2am p/up that tues morn.and i try to avoid back to back p/ups too many things can go wrong not to mention the driver ...too tired.

and the 8th, jan has a 9.30am p/up to a bkk hotel,with bkk traffic you would get to to air/p too late .if you were to share ..
