yeah i know you always do! but! i just got my e-ticket confirmation yesterday, im flying out to bangkok on october 20th and returning on november 13th, but quicky looking through the details i was booked to return on november 3rd! i phoned travelmood up and told them they had made a mistake! but they said id originally booked november 3rd! it cost me £35.00 to change the ticket (luckily they had room on the 13th!) then on checking my reciepts i HAD! in fact been booked on the 3rd from the start! so ALWAYS CHECK! your tickets! first time its happened to me and i felt like a right plonker telling the agents it was my mistake! so all in all i cant wait for the 20th cos until a few days ago i wasnt even sure about going due to ill health! so bring on the mekhong and coke!

done it twice now, not read my booking details correctly, first turned up at don muang 2 hours late for a flight to dubai, second a day late a don muang for a flight to japan ....both times didn't realise until checking in but thankfully thai air were cool about it and got me on the flight ....for the dubai one there was another flight about 4 hours later and for the trip to japan they put me on the flight i turned up for even though i was a day later than booked .. no extra charge

the 2 hours late for dubai was really unforgiveable or freudian ....I had already put my return back by a week .....only goes to show pattaya must be a different time dimension ...either that or i was in an alcoholic haze

Once had a problem because I didn't look at the bag check I was handed but when she only gave me one boarding pass, I knew that she had made a mistake. She thought I was breaking my trip in Taipei and that would have presented problems.

Always check and double check everything you get or you could be stuck!

Cheers

Got it badly wrong a couple of years ago when two mates and I got to the airport 24 hours late, still don't know how all three of us made the same mistake but it worked out ok as I rang my boss to tell him and ended up staying 3 extra day's by telling him I couldn't get on an earlier flight which he believed but it cost us £160 each extra to change the return date, oh well it's only money and you can't take it with you we thought he! he!

I posted the same warning back in August, I guess you didn't see the post as it would have saved you enough baht for a soapy. :banghead
