I have never heard of Elite on Eva, but they do have Evergreen Deluxe which just gives you extra leg room and a slightly better seat than economy, not sure if it is worth the extra money though. :chogdee2 :chogdee2 B)

Hi,

There are 3 classes on the 777-300 with EVA, they are Prem. Laural, Elite and ecom. IMHO it's not worth paying the extra 200GBP for the elite class, the food is the same, crap, and the service is poor. The seats in elite have fixed armrests so if the seat next to you is empty you cannot raise armrest to spread out. I was lucky when I came out in Sept. in econ. the center row, there was nobody in the other 2 seats so I could stretch out. The service was bad also.

P.L. seemed alright and the seats although not horizontal, on a slight angle, seemed O.K. but this is beyond my budget.

Cheers Doug.

Hi

I got a leaflet from Eva last year for PL at not much more than Economy. There were lots of conditions but it seemed a good deal if you could make the dates.

just been on evas website and the elite option isnt even mentioned?? now i am confused

Elite is the 777 version of the 747's Evergreen Deluxe. I don't think their website's been updated with it yet.

Not tried Elite, but Evergreen Deluxe was definitely worth the extra. :P

i just got back from thailand and i went with eva-air on elite class, personally i wouldnt pay the extra £200, the seat has slightly more leg-room and you get a toothbrush and some body cream! good i.f.e. though (although economy has the same size screens) apparently the old evergreen deluxe was better than the new elite service, but as i say id rather spend the extra 14,500 baht in thailand! im off again at the end of march so ill be checking prices again shortly!
