They didn't attend the same Swiss Hotel management school as the 5 star hotels in town...

"Mountain view" is my favourite for a 2nd road view.

It might be a little loud at night. The hotel is next door to 2 nightclubs. The Beat, which is a disco, stays open until 6am! The boys in brown supervise the departure of its patrons each morning.

Nightclubs on Soi 4 - it always seemd a bit of a sleepy Soi to me? Must be Pattaya's best kept secret. All I can recall down the Beach Road end is Suzies, the U-Hotel and the German Fisherman's restaurant place and the 2nd Rd end is taken up by the hospital and PIC restaurant. Anybody got any idea where on Soi 4 this hotel and the nightclubs are?

Web site doesn't say much, when it works.  Can't get the contact "form" to work or at least confirm a message has been sent.

Don't see any pictures of the rooms except pictures of the bed.  Any photos of the building. Pool?

What is the difference between the ocean view room and the ocean view "plus."?

Do the "apartments" have kitchenettes?  Microwaves? Coffee pot?  Shower and bath or just shower? In room safes? Etc., etc., etc.

I'll be heading down that way this week assuming the BG on soi two haven't chased me away with pitchforks. I'll get back to you with some info.

 

I like the sound of this week in Pattaya. This will be my second trip this year. Not bad for a guy whose retired on a fully funded series of public and private pensions. In case I don't make it down that way during the almost three weeks, I'm in Pattaya, I'm already planning my next trip for September.

Nightclubs on Soi 4 - it always seemd a bit of a sleepy Soi to me? Must be Pattaya's best kept secret. All I can recall down the Beach Road end is Suzies, the U-Hotel and the German Fisherman's restaurant place and the 2nd Rd end is taken up by the hospital and PIC restaurant. Anybody got any idea where on Soi 4 this hotel and the nightclubs are?

Not sure if there are any night clubs on Soi 4, but there is a new bar complex on the corner of the Soi and 2nd road.

The new hotel isn't on Soi 4 It's on Beach Rd., between Sois 3 and 4. The Beat is the only 'club' on Soi 4. Seems to be a Hip Hop joint. It occupies the upstairs space where Suzy Massage used to be. Suzy's no longer exists except for the "Japanese Only" karaoke bar which is under The Beat. The German Restaurant is still on the corner and is quite good. The old "U" hotel, which was owned by an ass-hole, was sold to the Mike Shopping people who renovated it and now call it the "Mike Beach Resort." A very presumptuous title but an OK hotel now. The Mike outfit also built the new "Mike Orchid Resort" on Soi 4 which is a bit east and on the opposite side of the road. The Bella Villa Prima Hotel is next door just to the east of that. And there is a new beer bar complex at the Soi 4 and 2nd Road intersection, just across Soi 4 from gas station.

 

And I almost forgot. A new hotel is being built across the street from the Mike Orchid Hotel. Don't know it's name yet. I return to Pattaya on Wed. and will find out. I have a condo on Soi 4. Damned lot of construction there over the past three or four years.

Does that mean: there is permanent noise from the construction site, like piling ?

I see already a post last month of this new hotel, a new hotel will be open soon near Gulf Siam on soi Pattaya Nua, (Pattaya north raod.)
