being a keen swimmer, the only thing pattay’s missing is a good pool? or i just didn’t find it yet? does anybody know a decent swimming pool in pattaya, please. when i say “decent†i mean for long enough for lap swimming. areca lodge was recommended but failed to satisfy, unlike bar scene...

thanks for help guys. i'll try them both, sooooooon :ang2

the thing is, i don't really wanna overdo it in the pool, and then have "no power" for evenings, but on the other hand can't go for week without a proper swim (addict)!

Have no real interest in pools, but the Lek hotel seems to be of a reasonable size. It can be easily viewed from Soi 13

The best swimmingpool I saw in hotels/condos is in the TV2, despite it isn't a rectangle and daytime some splash can disturb. In the early time and the after sunset it is empty and great to swim.

As a swimmer myself, so far, the one I like the best is at Nova Lodge. The pool is fairly long, although there are no lane markers. But what makes it most desireable is the fact it is a salt water [sodium Chloride] pool.

Agree with Gabor. I spend about an hour several days a week in the pool at View Talay 2A. It can get a bit busy at times though not so much in the low season. I'm not sure about the length but reckon it has to be 30m to 35m or thereby.
