Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

I want to stay near Walking Street and would like your recent input and experience.

I'm in the range of 2K baht per night.

Thanks! The review section wasn't as current on information as I might like.

BTW, I would like a room safe and a queen or king bed and no joiners' fees

Why do you want to stay by Walking street? You can stay anywhere off Beach Road and get to Walking street in about 10 minutes. :banana :clap2 :drunk

I have stayed in the Sunshine Vista in Soi 3, it is a good location close to everything and girlfriendly but don't book on their site go thru an agent it is cheaper. They have in room safes, bath, separate shower, balcony, nice staff, internet, pool and gym, room service, cable tv, mini bar, etc.

The Sabai Lodge on Soi 2 is also a good hotel, has pools, inroom safe, same as above really plus walk out the door and the baht bus stop there to take you to Walking street. You can book off there website it is a good price. :D :D :D

IF you want to be close to the action that "new" place just off Walking Street on Soi 14 looks like it might be a good bang for the buck.
