Can anyone who usually stays in Jomtien help me out with this one please.

How difficult and expensive is it to get a baht bus back to Jomtien in the early hours of the morning.

I have 22.5K baht in credit toward a hotel with Sawadee.com but they are telling me that the only hotel available on their books(that is under 1400 baht per night) is The White house resort in Jomtien.

http://www.sawadee.com/hotel/pattaya/whitehouse/ and i don't want to stay there if it's going to be a nightmare getting back and forth.I will not hire any transport while i am out there either.

Cheers guys,

Ivor.

I would go to your link and read the reviews before you book it because most of them are bad. <grin

I don't want to stay in Jomtien at all to be honest, but i have £320 credit toward a hotel and they are telling me that it is the only one not fully booked for the dates i want.£320 is 32 short times at the end of the day <grin <grin <grin

How did you end up with so much credit? :cry1 They probably got other rooms, they know you ain't got a choice.

You are paying too much for S/T.

Ivor if you do stay there, and i know you always finnish up in walking st area most times, just cut through to 2nd rd behind marine 2,baht buses or bikes are there all night ,get what ever you have with you to ask how much,or just tell them 150bt till you get one...you never know you might like it out there, just make sure its guest friendly.

and there are plenty of baht buses to get you in,and have an optic on the way.

and when you ring next time talk slowly i love your accent, but its hard on the phone .have fun

Hi mate I normally Stay in Jomtien & travel back in the early hours, yeh 150 baht should cover a private hire.

Or another option is getting back for 20baht if you dont mind waiting a while. You have to jump on the very rear baht bus on the rank fairly near walking st on second rd There are normally many baht buses there but the rear one always goes to jomtien & only departs when actually full of people. I used to do this all the time & very rarely had a problem getting 'home' this way even at 4am.

From FLB, cut through the Beer bar complex and head up Soi VC I think its called to 2nd Road.

Cross the road and get a baht bus. We stayed at the RG last time and all the busses go past there and on to Jomtein. 20 baht is the fare to Jomtein I believe.
