LK Metropole vs LK Mansion

advice needed ! The Metropole has a great location and good FLB rates. However, the rooms at the Mansion look better and the rates on the website look OK. Does anyone have any experience of either ??

Ill be checking out Mansions on my 3 mnth visit starting jan 15th.Their long term rates are excellent,however you usually get what you pay for.So there has to be some major downsides at the Mansion.

 

One of my ideas would be that Mansion is in a bad area,ie seems very close to all the Thai cafes on Central Rd. maybe making it very noisy or smelly.

 

Its got to be worth a look though,ill report back in Jan.

The rooms at the Mansion are certainly not better than the ones at the Metropole.
