Hotels with Pool ..????

[ZAMPA]

A lot of people on here, say you can get a hotel for under 1000 baht with a pool in Pattaya....

 

Can anyone recommend one of these.

Well the two that spring to my mind immediately are

 

1. Nova Lodge, perfect location for beach and bars, good breakfast, lovely gardens and pool, book through Asiarooms.com and it is less than 1,000 ......BUT THE ROOMS ARE SHIT!!!

 

2. I used to stay at the Nautical near Soi 11 in my mongering days. Book a room by the pool and it is less than 1,000. It is on beach road and has an excellent bar at the entrance ( which I still use) and near an Indian restuarent... but sorry I don't have a phone number

 

 

 

But the one I use mostly is Sunshine vista on Soi 3...book it through Asiarooms.com and depending on the date it can be less than 1,000. It is an easy walk to the beach, shops and bars and has a small pool on the roof....

I normally stay in the flipper house in soi 7. I think last year I paid 880bt per night and it has a swimming pool on the roof. I stayed there all of my 6 trips and never had a problem.

Both Flippers have pools. Recommend you get a superior room. Should still be possible within your budget in low season. Very friendly staff

Hi Millwall ,the LEK hotel on soi13 and 2nd rd is okay I dont like being so central in soi 8 and 7 where the flippers are located but they are good hotels and usualy do a 7 for 5 days in low season. you will need to hagle in the LEK or stay in the old wing

Always stayed at J&P Court top pool and rooms peak season was 850 don't know prices now though.No website.

Siam Sawasdee with good pool, on Soi Buakhow, the best quality of the Sawasdee chain in the area and the only one with decent pool really, very good stayed there for weeks at time in Nov-Dec period it's only 750-850 a night budget price.. cheaper lower season... very girl friendly for 1, 2, or more companions but they do check ID the majority of times. Rooms budget but OK and includes buffet style breakfast. Has a good travel desk for trips in lobby, have never had a bad event organised from there and same with transport to and from wherever. In a really good location for everywhere also if you like Soi Buakhow.. and I have to say I do.

 

If you are going from UK note they still like most of Thailand do not have chip and pin credit card machines so if you have new cards with chip and pin and not sign, your cards will be useless. You can pay night by night though if you wish.
