I tried contacting this hotel twice in October with no luck. I wanted same answers, plus in room safes. Zero response. I see now their site works better than last I checked. I went in there in November 06. I think they had been open less than one year. The receptionist did not speak English. Refused view of room. Sad because the lobby is beautiful. Mostly Asian clientele when I was there. I gave up and continued my stay at Soi 13 at a 12,000 baht savings. If anyone figures this property out it would be nice to hear proper review.

I'm waiting for a reply from this place with regards to a stay next February.

Anybody in town with time to kill willing to see if the rooms are up to scratch for me and whether they're girl friendly? I'll reward them with a beer or two for their trouble next Feb. :chogdee

Just saw this thread. I stayed at BaBooNa last week and absolutely loved it. It is serviced apartments but I'm frigged if I can tell what the difference is between that and a hotel since they seemed to have all the same facilities.

I had a different companion back every night I was there and nobody seemed to care. The shower is brilliant, with the shower rose being more than a foot across and plenty of room for 2 to play up. My room had a lovely balcony, there was free wifi in the room and the staff, especially the cleaning staff, were extremely friendly and helpful.

My only gripes, and they're small ones, was that there was no room service after 11 pm, and it was a bit awkward to get back to some times since the baht buses always seemed to want to go to Naklua or turn right at the Dolphins, rather than go round the circuit. Best bet was to get off at the top of Soi 3 and walk down, but that's a long and dark soi at 4 in the morning when your balance has been impaired by something you must have drunk earlier in the night.

I plan to have my own transport next time I'm in Patts and I'll be staying at BaBooNa again if i can get in. Highly recommended.

If they don't answer e mails, speak English or show rooms then it is not worth fooling around with. This indicates inferior management and service. I have stayed at Sandy Springs on Soi 13 and have never been disappointed.
