I fellas, been looking at some of the reviews on the nana hotel and to be honest not too many are encouraging, but it is a place I want to stay just once on my visits to LOS.

I want to book one of the de-luxe rooms, bit expensive at 1690 given the location, as anyone stayed in a de-luxe room there?

Hate to say it mate but you should do a search,am sure there are more pages on the Nana than on Rolys 10 baht / 13 pence/ 7 cents.

For what its worth everybody who ever does the tour should stay at least 1 night in the Nana. Its an experience to take to hell / heaven with you.

I just booked the Majestic Suites for 4 nights in Sept. Why do you have to stay at the Nana? Cant you

experience the Nana ,soi4,the disco, the car park, nep, without having to go back to a nasty hotel?

MS is just around the block.

Got to agree with Lolligager. You can experience everything Nana Hotel has to offer from Majestic Suites except the nasty. filthy, 1980 decor Nana Hotel room. But to each his own, one night is all anyone should have to endure. There are so many other options very close by...MS, Majestic Grande, Heldleburg, Grand Business Inn, Ever Rich to name a few. I'll be there in Sep too, still trying to decide between MS and Ever Rich. Have fun.

I have stayed at the Nana once and I can say I found it a experience. If you never tried it, go for it. once is enough and it is in need of a refurb but try it.

We are staying at majestic this time but no doubt I will be showing the new boys nana!!

Hi,

You haven't read mine ? :D I've stayed in other more "upmarket" hotels in Bangkok and its just not the same. I admit if I was with my wife it would have to be somewhere else, but as a mongers hotel it is NO 1. The location is hard to beat and the food is good quality and good value. There is a whiff of sweet Thai pussy in the air and if you need a midnight snack or meal there is a wide selection of non fattening tasty delights in the car park. :D

Stayed in Dynasty in january small smelly little room not nice

crap food.

Stayed in fortuna hotel soi5 great location but they

upped the prices 500b in one go and no hot water half the time

So i have booked a de-luxe room in nana for january

good food though a bit pricey and you cant beat the

buzz that is the nana, its sleazy.

If impressing thai hookers is your thing then

the nana is not for you but if you really dont give

a toss what anybody thinks its great.

Its for us who would rather wear a timex watch than

a fake rolex and its a designer clothes free zone

and long may it stay that way.

I stayed at Nana in May this year, and the room was newly painted and very clean. I had a great view over

Soi 4 and the staff was ok. Compared to Dynasty inn and Worabori, Nana is better value for the money.

No, you can not have the same experience. If you stay at the Nana then you experience the Nana. When you stay at some other hotel then you are having the same experience. If you hav the extra $50 or so, then by all means go for it, stay at the Nana. After that experience then stay at any other place and compare the Nana experience. Any other experience is NOT the same.

  • 4 weeks later...

stayed in the nana a couple of times purely because of location and a last minute decision.....always seem to have a room avalible for a night or two...its like stepping back in time when you enter one of their rooms, even an old spin dial telephone....................in the bathroom....prefer the majestic suites myself but unless you book prior to arrival the chance of gettin in there are slim

Nana hotel is a complete dump, some of the rooms have a brick wall 6 inches from the window WTF. The service staff on reception are always rude, i cant see much reason for staying there. Can still grab a freelancer from the disco and just take her back to a nearby hotel which is alot nicer....

I did my one night there & its definately an experience, Prefer to however to stay at the dynasty (better imo) or somewhere else but go in from time to time just too samle its er 'unique' atmosphere. I got a standard room & have to say it was possibly one of the most dreary worn rooms i have stayed in but in their defence it was late & maybe the last to go? Havin said that i have seen worse rooms in the area, albeit a lot cheaper. Hey Book a night or 2 & if your not happy move on, if your satisfied extend, hey it wont kill you!!
