Open from 3pm - 6am

 

All kinds of burgers from an egg burger to a fish sandwich, fries and drinks also

 

I'm used to stumbling into a Waffle House in the early hours so this made me feel right at home

I know that there is a place in soi buakhow that sells waffles its right on the corner of soi metro next door to the Jasmin Hotel, they also sell good ( I enjoy them) burgers and cheap phone calls home

Sorry to tell you this but it closed down in October and is being refurbished as a go-go I think. Could even be open by now !!!

Thats a shame I was in there many nights after 3am and enjoyed a late burger,mind you their kebab was pretty awful even at 29 baht.I only got home at the start of August .

That’s a shame used to enjoy there chicken shish meal, and it was only a few steps from the Metro. Must have closed just after I left.

See, the magic of Waffle House is that everything is cooked on one large griddle -- pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, etc. The griddle becomes seasoned to add a fantastic taste to everything that's cooked on it. I'm pretty sure it's some form of sorcery or alchemy.

its now on soi lenkee, half way down on the left. the chicken shish, salad and humus was my favorite.

You may be thinking of Denmark. Many of the ladies employed or bought the franchise now have their own booths ; like the nice lady that used to operate the Denmark booth next to Ice Inn. She's now just across the street at Soi 10 running a burger booth called Happy Hamburger.

The Big Mama I know about was on the dead-end soi running off to the east of the east-side access road to Tuk.com. She was a black (American?) woman who sold ribs, burgers, roast chicken...good southern fare.

But, she closed sometime in the last year or so. I don't know what happened to her, but her ribs were pretty good. As I recall, you needed to order them a day in advance so she could slow cook them all day.

No waffles in sight.
