Any current information about Pattaya Centre?

 

I stayed there in 2002 and it was old and run down then.

 

I loved the Pool and the Location. The large Pool on the 15th floor was awesome. It was BG friendly. The current price of $34 for a Standard Room and $45 for the Deluxe is reasonable.

 

The worst part was the stained carpeting and the worn out mattress. Never look under the sheet at an older Hotel like this.

 

I'm trying to narrow down a Hotel near Walking Steet for late February.

 

Did a forum search but Pattaya and the word Centre hit on to much stuff that is not related to the Hotel.

This hotel open on the early 90's and last year they made some small renovation, i visit the large corner room with great view it's really nice some fotos and infos of this hotel http://pattayaone.com/ptacenter.html

always thought of it as more of a tour group place-better options elsewhere.

Stayed there on a few occasions about 3-4 years ago.Price steadily increased as the hotel went downhill !

Pool was good but then shit and your correct,large groups of Koreans and Indians became commonplace.

They used to be guest friendly, and I stayed their my first several trips to Pattaya. On one of my trips (early 2004?) they gave me a major hassle about bringing a girl back and have not stayed there since. Avoid.
