Papillon obviously uses public jeepneys to get to the terminal. I do it in 10 mins at a cruise. As for the price it is very reasonable. Dont know what makes you laugh. You can always live in sunny UK, You may get nice council house on some estate for that.

I notice the bars on the windows and the razor wire on the fence, is security a problem? Do other home owners have armed guards? Have you or your neighbors had problems with intruders. Thanks.

Here in the PI its quite normal to have razor wire, Everyone has it. Some places like compounds have armed guards but that is also quite normal, Hey we have armed guards here at mcdonalds! I have a english neighbor across the road never had a problem been here 3 years, It is a very quiet area you would not believe you are down the road from the action of fields. None of the foreigners here in close vicinity have armed guards or such, Its a pretty good community. It is the way things are here, precautionary measures for any property is a must.

The idea of staying in Jomtiem attracts me and was wandering whats the distance along the beach front to W/S? and does it lead straight on to W/S? is it safe ? if not safe what times are a no no.

I kind of like the idea of a stroll along there to get to the action,also are there bars along the way?

I suggest you stick to what you know which does not seem a lot looking at your your posts asking people directions from Pats to jonty. If that scares you dont consider comming to the Phils you would shit yourself. I sold my house above price listed here, it took all of 2 weeks in the blue book.
