DELIVERY EXPRESS Food delivery service

Recommended Posts

Delivery express is the only food delivery service in pattaya that offers you the NO MENU MARK UP.No menu mark up means we do not mark up our menu prices and offer you exactly the same price you would expect to pay at any of our participating restaurants. The only additional charges will be a deliverycharge for our driver and a 10% service charge for our company.Visit our website at www.deliveryexpresspattaya.com

Where are Menus available?

I have little confidence in Websites being kept up-to-date.

I've always used www.door2doorpattaya.com in the past. Having a quick glance at the couple of restaurants that both places offer, I couldn't see any evidence of any savings whatsoever. Plus door2door seems to offer a much better choice of restaurants (or at least those that I'd be interested in).

Bloody hell, 180 baht for a fish finger. I would expect up to the shoulder joint for that!

Delivery Express is 100% no menu mark up.All our restaurants sell at menu price. With the other services 80% are marked up as high as 40%.20% of there restaurants are at there regular price.

Can you provide an example from the respective websites of your prices being less than those offered by door2door?

The restaurants we have do not mark up there menu's as far as d2d check with the restaurants they have then price the menu's in the actual restaurants. All we are saying is that we do not allow our restaurants to mark up any of there prices. What d2d does is there business.

I pretty much gave up trying to find a menu to compare like for like, other than the two shown above which seem to indicate that you are charging exactly the same prices as door2door (at those 2 outlets anyhow).

The only other like-for-like comparison that I could make was on your published beverage prices ........

330 ml Heineken or San Mig - D2D - 50 Baht, Delivery Express - 75 Baht

330 ml Tiger or Singha - D2D - 45 Baht, Delivery Express - 65 Baht

325 ml Coke or Sprite - D2D - 25 Baht, Delivery Express - 35 Baht

Red Bull/Lipo - D2D - 20 Baht, Delivery Express - 25 Baht

It seems to me that you're making a big deal about so-called menu mark-ups whilst at the same time you're stuffing customers with your drinks prices up to 50% more expensive than your competitors sell identical products.

Quite the sleuth our Tom is!

As I would have deliveries to the house, where I have cold beer in the fridge, drinks not required for me. I have a D2D menu in front of me, and would like one from this new boy on the block.

As stated I do not trust internet menus here, it is too difficult discussing non-availability or price changes over a mobile phone, with my miserable Thai, or mispronounced English.

Something fishy going on here, infact rather misleading.

The brochure lists two pieces of "john Dory" which one is sold through DE for 150baht, im not a betting man but im gunna guess it aint the large one.

What about the doner kebabs...same same, is the smaller one delivered at an inflated price ???

Seems the Sausages gained 5 baht as well ???

Sorry, a 10% "service charge" is an effective "mark up".

D2D charges to go in their book and takes a hefty % of the price in the menu.

Whatever this one does, it is only a variation on a theme, not a new science.

By the way, D2D does not mark up any prices either. Restaurants are entitled to charge whatever they want. It is up to the restaurant whether to charge a different price. If you have all the old D2D menus, you will see that initially they did not really charge more through D2D bu gradually they increased their prices substantially.

I find it all pretty much crap when it gets to your house except PIzza Co., McD, and BK.

You guys need to get out and get some exercise especially after eating. Another plus is that you might run across some cute TG for some dessert or get a cell number for a future visit.

Why stay in your room while on holiday. The point being is to see the people around where you stay. Do a walkabout, it is great exercise and who knows, you may meet your lady du jour while pondering where and what to eat.
