You will enjoy, especially if you're tall. Big step up from eco. And dont forget, at checkin, to see if there's a special line/queue for deluxe ticket holders. I know LAX has one and it saved my arse lots of time and hassle. :banghead

Checking out the Eva air web site, the London route has the 777 until late March 2010 when it reverts back to the 747. If you are travelling Elite class it is worth checking out the seat layout of the 777 to find the best seats.

matt Thanks for the info about netflights.

Not really. The layout is nearly the same for Elite class-777 and Deluxe-747.. Here...

The Eva Air web site has several new promotions, one very intersting one for UK BMs is, LHR-BKK-LHR in Elite Class, £568 inc taxes.

Must book before 17 July, valid 11 August to 09 December, no FF miles.

Premium Laurel is £1098.

No good for me as I have already booked.

Yes I noticed this when I tried to change my seats on my last flight.

Couldn't get my aisle ones despite being as early as the system allowed.

Due to passengers frequently changing to particular seats, they sure know which ones are preferred now, and hold them for people flying a more expensive fare basis.

True, but not fare class based. It's status.

I am a gold with EVA and have had only aisle seats on my last 20 flights, even when getting last minute tickets/changes.

And I always get the cheapest tick, so it's not price.

Likely that too.

My paarticular example was a Biz Class flight, but a cheaper fare basis (D or I?).

Couldn't get my usual exit row.

Yes I saw this. I had already booked cattle class. So I rang Eva and asked if I could upgrade to Elite. They told me that I could not.
