Take a look at the Holiday Inn Mick, similiar prices, pickup up at the airport.

The "Busakorn" wing is a private area for couples. Latestays has it for about 2,000 baht.

Main thing for me was close to the action and no mosquitos.

Are you ever in KK anymore? We are counting on you as the local travel guide

Bill.

Hi Mick, CN Hotel has been good enough for me and mine the couple of times we have been to phuket, you will be ripped off far too much, especially at xmas time,in Phuket without paying too much for a room in my opinion.

Free transport from the airport with a booking of 3 nights or more,or was last year anyway.

Breakfast was decent also and hotel is on a soi only about 150-200 metres from the top of bangla road.

Was going to book Royal Paradise with Pagonda web site price shown ok for 2454 bahts night

but when booking this did not include taxes ect ,so total price was 3000+ Bahts night

so did not book.

After looking how many hotels there is in Patong,I have decided that im sure will not

all be full ,think will be many rooms available.

So I am now not booking till end of October.

Did see a nice hotel CN ,but no swimming pool ,price about 1700 bahts night in Dec

Think many members from Phuket forum use this place.

I used to love the Thara. Bit pricey, but nice well equipped rooms, guest-friendly, nice pool area, good buffet breakfast, within walking distance of the beach and Bangla Road, and two entrances/exits (which could be handy sometimes) Having said that, it must be 4 or 5 years since I last stayed there, so don't take this as gospel.

I have used C&N Hotel and so has a mate of mine and we were both happy with the place, as someone said 1 Soi from the top of Bangla Road.

Yes there is no pool but the beach isn't that far away Mick (about 1 1/2 blocks).

For your dates you would get the VIP room for 1700 bht, which I can say is a very big and roomy room.

C&N is good. There is a pool just around the corner in Soi Sansabai, owned by Yorkshire Inn (very nice hotel too!), but you can pay to use it, but as has been mentioned, the sea is only a couple of hundred yards away!
