Tuesdays as some may know are our regular jam nights in the Blues Factory but starting tomorrow I’ve changed the format slightly.

Jam night is now on Sundays and its with Snowman and The Blues Machine but now after midnight Lam Morrison will be joining the blues band and also is keen to have jammers come up and jam with him and the band. He hasn't played with the blues band for a few years so it should be a good thing.

Watch this space as I will also be doing a promotion for customers that come into jam, I will of course update the info when its been planned fully.

Hopefully see you Sunday.

Cheers

DT

I know a couple of guys who are musicians. One plays the guitar very well and the other plays the trumpet (he has supported Eric Clapton) If I see them soon I will let them know.

If you want to clear the bar at closing time you could always let me sing.

Nigel and Roddy, right? don't forget Stan, the drummer. Nigel is in the U.K. at the moment, but Stan and Roddy are here.

Jerry Lee Lewis tribute act Jerry Carlson along with a well known Danish musician should be joining in on our jam night tonight from 1030pm.

Jerry Carlson was brilliant!

Do please let us know when he is going to be back - there seemed to be some confusion last night. Hopefully the cameraman won't be around next time!

Yeh Snowman read it out wrong, He was supposed to be back on sunday the 13th as part of a party but the party has been cancelled BUT Jerry did say to me that he'd pop in for a jam next sunday.

In April however we will be organizing a proper night for him where we will set up the piano in front of the stage so he can have a real show.

cheers

:gulp

Living in London and going to the Marquee from '67 onwards I've seen them all. Well all the ones I wanted to see including Hendrix.Clapton,Page,Beck,Green, Lee,Rory,Kossof........to Stan Web (Chicken Shack] and Mick Abrahams... [blodwyn Pig].

What I love about The Blues Factory is the sound set up. They've had the time to perfect it.

If you want to hear echoes of all those guitarists......apart from the last 2........in perfect 2011 sound quality ........Well I've never heard better.

..............Er this Jam night..........I've got a guitar.........do I actually need to be able to play it? Couldn't I just do the over-bite expression..got me own teeth......and hair..[Lam]......and mime?
