Guys,

I'm travelling over to Pattaya for Christmas (24th - 10th Jan), although I have a house on the outskirts of Pattaya, I'm trying to understand what celebrations are on during New years' eve, really don't want to spend the night on walking street aimlessly going from bar to bar.

I'd like to find somewhere to take my g/f.

I'd appreciate all suggestions so I can get organised before coming over :-)

Regards,

An hour sitting on the beach watching the firework spectacular is great!

Then there are the expensive 'Gala Nights' at the big hotels.

I wonder if you realise how many people would sell their soul to the devil to have what you have. Just go there and go with the flow.

What is on in your area ? NYE is not really a night for bar hopping, at least not late on. It is more a time to park yourself and enjoy the night. I would not be looking to move anywhere after about 10pm at the latest.

Fireworks are ok but nothing new.

I think it really depends upon your other half. If she want to go out then perhaps she has friends, even if you do not have many. Doing something together with her friends may be possible.

Whatever, I'd sort it out beforehand as you don't really want arguments on the day.

Most people spend the night on walking street aimlessly going from bar to bar.

There are shows like the fireworks, plus every decent hotel has something, from a night club act to a dance band at least.
