Just thought we would update the board with our Xmas plans.

 

ALL DRINK PRICES WILL REMAIN THE SAME.........NO INCREASES !!

 

Xmas bar fines

 

Bar fines will be remain at our normal prices over the Christmas and New Year period, except on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. This is simply to ensure we keep enough girls in the bar to keep the party rockin on these nights.

 

On these two nights ONLY bar fines from 8.00pm to 1.00am will be:-

 

Dancers and Service = 1,000 baht

 

ShowGirls = 1,500

 

After 12.30 all rates revert to normal ( 500 to 700 )

Baby Dolls customer care policies deserve to be rewarded. Good website also. Great to see picture in archive section of a wonderful valentine night, barfined lady of mine from 2 years ago with the lady drink receipt from a drink i bought her in her stocking. Great memory of a fantastic night with a beautiful lady.

Not a bad deal. The mamasam at Tahitian Queen ( Beach Rd ) told me the the bar fine for the 25/12 and the 31/12 will be 3000 baht. Same reason to keep the girls in the bar entertaining the clients but would hurt the regulars who arrive over the Xmas period and want to bar fine their favourite girl LT.

IMHO if it was really to keep girls from being Bfd, then the BF should be increased much more than 2 times (like THQ). If the BM thinks about it and really wants a girl, he will just barfine her straight away and not buy drinks. This will result in the same out of pocket expenses as with the smaller barfine.

 

A similar situation happen to me last time I was in Patts. I barfined a girl several nights (I think 9) in a row and we came in the night before Loy Krotong. Mamasan said that I have to wait until 11 to BF on Loy Krotong. I asked why, as I have come into the bar every night, spent a minimum of 1,200 baht (not including BF) and I should not have to wait. I said, maybe I will go talk to the owner. Then she came back with "if you bf for 3 nights now" you don't have to wait. That really pissed my off, but I paid the 3 night BF and off we went. We did not return for the next several nights, because I was pissed (mad for you Aussies and Brits ) . The bar lost between 1,200-1,500 per night, because bar was greedy.

 

IMO bars should think how they phrase the increased BF or just raise it to an amount that no-one will bf until the price goes down. Saying it is to keep the girls in the bar longer is just misleading and trying to take advantage of the average BM in my very humble opinion.

I don't think anyone even thinking about charging that amount would dare publicise it. I know the heat Mistys drew when it was known some years ago that they were going to Bt1000 and trying for Bt2000.

 

Raising the bar on 2 nights is better than some but do you think everyone takes their tilac de jour home early or to the beach ? No, they go somewhere. Net result is that everywhere is full but perhaps not of girls from that bar.

 

Fair play for going public on the rates and days. Better than most who will just try to shaft the punter on the night or for a week but let's not pretend that it has anything to do with not maximising revenue either from drinks or barfines.

I think that regular customers should not get gouged on holidays or party nights.

Having been in this situation, it just makes things difficult for everyone involved;

 

Once upon a time, myself and two friends had barfined three of a bars most popular girls for a couple of days and had a great time. Along comes a special night and we are not bothered to pay the higher barfine as the girls want to be in the dance contest, but will wait for us and we plan on hanging out in our favorite bar watching the girls take the prize money and have a fun night of it.

As the night rolls on the girls get prodded by the mamasan to make the rounds of the bar so some other customers will be buying them drinks. Well the girls are trying to make sure that we don't get away but have to make the mamasan happy as well. What ends up happening is that other punters start getting a bit peeved as they are buying ladydrinks and offering up barfines only to get turned down and left sitting alone after a few minutes. The girls just move along and come back to our table and we buy them drinks, then they get spoken to in Thai by the mamasan and head off to make the rounds in the bar again. After a while a pattern starts to develop, the mamasan is getting pissed and the other guys in the bar are getting even more pissed.

We end up leaving and come back later to pay the normal barfine as we where getting looks and comments from the other punters. Also, as the mamasan is acting like a bitch to both the girls and us, sos we are not going to dole out any more cash to that cunt.

I'm not afraid to spend money, but I'm not stupid either. If the manager had just gotten his head out of his ass I'm sure something could have been worked out.

 

Oh, and the three girls took first, second and third in the dance contest, yet the asshat manager made them wait an hour to get their prize money as he knew we had returned to pay the barfines and we where fed up with the drama and wanted to leave.
