Thin walls, you'll hear the guy down the hall banging his girl all night

Absolutely correct. I stayed there once, but never again. It's just not the thin walls, noise seems to reverberate around the corridors something rotten.

What's this about thin walls? Stayed there 3 times, last trip was for 30 days few months back. Stayed for total of around 75 days in 1 1/2 years and never ever heard any noise from next room or from any other room for that matter. Some of the stuff posted on here is just utter drivel. and before anyone asks the rooms next to mine were occupied.

I'll be back there in March. Don't listen to #2

I am about to book in on the month deal with Pattaya Bay resort.

Do we know of a reason that I shouldn't?

Why not try 30 days at the Penthouse Hotel. Send an e-mail directly to the owner. His name is Dudley. He will give you a special deal. www.penthousehotel.com

Thick walls, double glazing and black out curtains all help to ensure that you sleep well.

The rooms are great, Jacuzzis, Whirlpools, Mirrors in the Ceiling, 42" Flat Screen TV that plugs into you computer, indoor swimming pool, free breakfast, 24 hour restaurant, 24 hour room service, 24 hour maid service, security.

This place has a reputation for being cockroach-infested. It is also noisy. Just use the search facility to find people's thoughts.

Well Bazle.you don't like much,is there a hotel that you do like, that is quite.

I stay at Sabai Inn, Soi 2 Beach Road, in N Pattaya. But currently a new hotel is being constructed right next to Sabai Inn so there is a bit of building noise. But I'd recommend it if you can get a room on the other side of the hotel. Also, ask for an outward facing room, otherwise the windows are in the corridor rather than the outside world. http://www.sabaiinn.com/

Send them an email (resv@sabaiinn.com) telling them exactly what you want. Mark it for the attention of Mr Aan (the very helpful manager).
