Hi guys,

 

I usually do all my booking last minute but this time I know the date I am returning to Patts. Have been searching for dates around the 1st to 3rd August out-bound and am shocked at the prices, do you think they wil come down towards the £500 mark? also if you could recommend a good site to use for fares I would appreciate it.

Paul, there a much of a muchness, mate, Westeast travel, Netflights, Ebookers or head down to Trailfinders on Corn Street, you'll probably get THAI direct for circa £670, which isn't bad. £500 quid, as Cheshire Tom says, No.

Yeah, thought £670 direct would be around the price. Guess I have been lucky the last few times, anything between £370 - £500. Last flight Kingfisher £420.

 

Will try Trailfinders on Corn St but have found the net to be the best.

I've just booked MAN>BKK 20.7.10 and BKK>MAN 12.8.10 on Etihad for £543 through Expedia. No long wait at Abu Dhabi for connections.

The same flight 3 weeks ago about £900 !.

Looks like flight prices have taken a sudden tumble. Double dip recession on its way ?.
