Drink Wise, What Do You Normally Order?

Recommended Posts

I made the mistake of having vodka lippo as my standard drink for most of last month - that stuff can really screw you up - no sleep for 3 days etc . now its beer, and vodka tonic when im bloated or feeling like im gonna need power.

heinekin 150 baht a bottle in candyshop last night, where is that new plaza place again?? :-)

It is strange that the only place I've heard people drinking Vodka-Lippo is in Thailand. Maybe I need to get out more.
Well Lippo is a local drink....... I believe it originally came from Japan.

A bit like Irn Bru in Scotland.

Everybody is different (God bless them); some go with the whiskey & mixers, vodka, beer, tequila, water, ice tea, orange juice, margarita (!), ... all the way to folks who might even order wine [in Thailand, ya].

What do you order when you go to a bar, agogo, restaurant, or other places? Be specific if you wish.

I am not a big drinker and find that if I mix too much alcohol with the little blue pill I feel like cutting my head off in the morning so a few Singha lite and perhaps a scotch and water.

Ditto on the scotch. It's a single malt at least 10yr old for me, on the rocks. That's in the hotel. I usually keep a bottle of good gin, and bottles of tonic water as well, some limes around too. The fridge is filled daily with jumbo heinikens, gatorades, cold cans of coffee, and of course springwater, not the distilled tap shit.

In the bars it's heineken, singha, or gin and tonics, though I tend to send about half back to the mixer for a second try at making a passable drink. Yeah, I'm picky.

OBLA DEE BRO.

OBLA DEE BRO.

It isn't even distilled... it is filtered.

Excellent distinction. I stand corrected sir. distilled removes all minerals, leaves water sterile, filtered is through carbon filter or similar process. It's mountain spring water for me, and once in a blue moon Perrier.
