So far little incidence, but there was an attempt to get over a neighbour's wall very recently.

Many houses built around are an utter and complete security joke. Roof tiles that can be pushed back and break through a false ceiling, sliding windows that can be lifted out of their track, and doors with wooden panels that can be punched out.

The security grills over windows are often fitted with the removal screws easily undone.

That and a security man who spends most of the time sleeping and likes to make an extra few quid by calling some friends when you go on a road trip.

So extra security is a must then

Well perhaps strong windows and doors will make them consider going elsewhere, perhaps to Eddie's.

Big Eddie will sort em out with his .22 rifle heheheheheh
Well, he might switch his attention to Magpies rather than pigeons if they start pilfering the family jewels.

I lived outside of Bangkok in a gated secure village. I was hit twice in two years. Secure? I think the thieves were working with security guards.

Why not

Tell the security numpty that if at the end of the year you've not been broken into you'll give him say 2 or 3K THB

But

If you do get broken into you'll pay 100K THB to have him killed

Nothing like a little focus noh

Yes, touch wood!

I am looking at new windows and doors now and an upgrade of my alarm system......

The old extruded aluminium windows are a security joke and I don't fancy bars in the slightest, I would move out of town (or into a condo) before I did that.

A dog seem to work but I don't like them..... like having a kid.

The Japanese have used Akitas to guard their children that they would leave outside on the curb while they went inside to do some shopping.

You can train dogs to "surprise" trespassers also.

Yes, but they seem to be incapable of shitting discreetly or opening a can of food themselves. :whistling:
