D and D was sold and Ken, the former owner relocated to Sihanoukville. Ken passed away some time back. As far as I know D and D was never moved unless someone took the name for a new place.

Reopening was reported here and here by BM Chris_Heaton but he's not been on here since June 2010.

This place has been re-named three times or so in the last two years; according to Eddy from Rich Man Poor Man it is now owned by a fellow that also owns an Aussie bar just around the corner on Beach Road.

Hi, D&D's has closed again.

 

Ken did own D&D on Soi 9, Jomtien but he sold the business and name to me. I carried on running D&D at soi 9 until the split with my wife when I lost the bulding! but not the business rights.

 

We did try re-opening recently at Soi 10, Thepressit but business was very bad. A combination of the economy and a very poor location. Many of the good girls did not want to work so far from Jomtien or Pattaya. The bar was sort of stuck in the middle with no foot traffic and mostly Thai bars near it. The bar at Soi 10 is now known as Magie May's 3, and is owned by the same guy who owns Magie May's 2 in Soi Watboon, Jomtien.

 

I decided if D&D was to return again it would have to be near it's original location in Jomtien. My dream was to try and get the original premises back but it has changes hands a couple of times recently and I never even knew the place was for sale till it had already been sold. So at the moment D&D is homeless but hope to re-open sometime in the future.
