Anyone tell me what weather is like at the moment

Lot of posts saying temp are very low at the moment

Also is budget of 10.000 aday enough this does not include the

Room as I've sorted that sepeate

We have had a couple cold days this week, but not too bad. If you are used to cold weather then come as usual. If not, bring a sweater or buy one here if you need one. You shouldnt tho... in the day time its fine (just cool), but at night if you ride a motorbike (especially out of town) it can get downright cold.

 

That said, today was hot as usual so the weird weather might be over.

 

10k a day is plenty for a good holiday. Enough to buy things, have a shorttime, eat well and a long time every night (even paying LDOP prices).

The weather I cannot comment on as I am not there at present, the 10k I can and so will others as it really depends on your level of madness or drinking etc. I can get by and have a good time on less per day. That would include an evenings drinking a good looking lady and as much food as I would eat. 90% of the time I pay no more than 1000 for the lady and around 300 bar fine. I buy a few selected lady drinks but do not throw money away. I will leave it at that I am sure there are many comments to come.

Your budget is exactly what I go with, but I only go two weeks at a time. I'd probably go with a lower budget if I went longer because I could take a day or two off. Frosty is right, you'll have enough for both a daytime ST, LT at night at gogo prices, plus enuogh to eat well and buy a good number of lady drinks. I will say, however, that you can even blow that budget if you go crazy with ping pong balls, bar fine two and three girls at a time, buy LDs for groups of girls, etc.

When I budgeted my trip I would do it like this:

 

Pay for hotel/plane on my credit card in advance (I always stayed at the same place), so that was paid up.

 

Budget 10k per day for all but 3 days of the trip

Budget 15k per day for those 3 days

 

I usually had money left over at the end of the trip... but not always. I would sometimes get 2 STs in a day, then take 2 (and once 3) ladies LT at night.

 

Money goes fast here...

 

Heck, I STILL spend 10k on a good (or bad) night out, tho its uncommon now that I live here.

I can live well for three days on 10,000 baht, but each to his own, in you go all the time down WS and drink in the go gos a lot, and not a happy hour, the money will soon get spent

I can have a night out here for less then 1k baht sometimes - usually when I go to the Cherry Bar and end up staying there all night lol.

 

Walking street on the other hand... There are a number of bars that I can't walk in and get sat down before I have 5 drinks on my bin lol. Oh well

I was there in Feb had a great on a budget of 10,000 - 12,000 baht per day not including hotel.

 

I prefer to drink and whore myself on walking st personally but did have the odd time at a beer bar complex.

 

I don't drink much so i usually had water but I'm pretty liberal with the LD's and Ping pong balls.

 

Anyways have a blast when you go.

There is no set spending if you are a monger holiday tourist of 2 weeks approx.Enjoy yourself mate,dont know why anybody would want to pay for ping pong balls and throw them to hookers,who in turn dive on the floor for them,very demeaning for me.Taking a couple of girls longtime will set you baclk a few quid but if you are doing that why drink yourself into oblivion,why not go out,pick the 2 girls(women) and take them back to loom,whats the point in getting arseoled

Hell yes 10,000 per day budget is perfect I usually stay 14 days with a similar amount and I have a great time once I spent 15,000 in one bar but that was first night on one of my trips and I was ringing that bell like crazy You willl become very popular

I like getting the pp balls to liven up the place sometimes and I'll get a girl or a couple of them to throw them, that really gets the girls going i find.

 

Sure it looks demeaning but they seem to like it, in Pattaya anyways when i was in Bangkok only the servers where going for the balls.

10,000 baht /day is excellent budget. You may even find it hard to spend that much at all since you're a newb. And not including room either. I normally don't budget as much but have been guilty of spending more than 10,000 baht on more than a few occasions. Most days I can get by just fine with 6000 baht per day or less and I can still ST in afternoon and LT at night, I just don't like to go crazy with ladydrinks, and I don't drink much myself.
