Zico's Brazilian Bar-B-Q Beach Road Pattaya

Ahh, if that were only true lol.

I dont use pickles, onions, tomato or any of that. The Bacon, Mushrooms and Cheese only enhance the flavor :)

But ya, a nice regular cheeseburger with no extras is good too sometimes.

The quality of the meat makes all the difference tho.

Smothering it with bacon, jack cheese and mushrooms (and probably ketchup), I wonder why you would need to worry about taking

flavor out of the meat.
In fact that was a comment a friend made, a USA guy was doing the honours making the food, when I was in Saudi Arabia...'so much crap on it (pickles, ketchup, onions, cheese, relish etc etc) can't taste the meat'.... :D

You would probably not notice if they left the meat out.... like they do at Subway here!

I have actually eaten at these Brazilian type places, in Brazil, and similar in Argentina. Plenty of meat there..... came out like a lead filled beach ball!

Subject change:

The girls in the photo... are not from Brazil are they? Looks way too dark. As in Africa dark. or?......

You find plenty of dark ones in Brazil..... and light ones too, quite a mix. African slaves went there.

Must be the little flag that costs a lot.

I have just arrived in the UK and the savouries are still good (pies, sausage rolls, pasties and the like), a decent burger is probably unavailable, thank god! But you haven't lived until you have had a steak and kidney pudding. :D

well... were forcibly taken there. I doubt many chose it as a holiday destination.

Voodoo is still practiced there [brought from Africa]

More African slaves ended up in S America than anywhere else. I THINK. Might have this wrong. Portuguese slave trade. Hence they speak Portuguese.

So you still see very dark skinned obviously african DNA - ed women in Brazil. Presumably ones who did not intermix.

of ones who did, the Brazilian "mixed" arse is african DNA + [the + being whatever race they combined with].

So is the kinesthetic skill [dancing, shaking, sexing] which africans score highly on.

hence carnival etc

Had dinner at Zico's this week. Pricey, but good service and food. Only complaint was that we were asked if we wanted to sit inside or out. Chose inside as we thought there would be aircon. No aircon, no fans. Would have been more cool outside and getting the sea breeze.

Ahh, thanks for that tip.

Damn, for 900b each I would think they can afford aircon.

Still intend to try this... but maybe only on a cool day now. I hate places with no AC... Even PBG, tho admittedly its usually ok there with the sea breeze. There are days tho that its just too hot to sit outside.

You do this via email????

.

No. I'm normally good at remembering what threads i posted on as i'm not prolific in posting. But I get reminders of any threads I posted on sent to my email. They used to go in the inbox and serve to jog my memory. Now they're going into spam instead of inbox which i've only just realised.
