Grumpy Old Expats....

Recommended Posts

Bloody buggering bastard people that start to get in the lift whilst you are still trying to get out.........I am going to have to have a bottle of wine to calm down....

I forgot about that one. Just the same, on stairs that are narrow, if you are three steps away from being off them, a Thai will step up. On an escalator they will stand and block anyone else from walking up or down, to lazy to walk, and to rude to get out of the way.

lived hear now for some 10years

I think its hilarious when you here guys who hate the heat

You guys need to swap here/hear.

groups of guys who walk 2,3, or 4 abreast in the road, rather than single file or 2 by 2.

They do the same thing when walking back to the camps when working abroad, on main roads where ALL the workers with vehicles are driving out.

I've accidentally clipped a few

That happens a lot to them when blocking the road to workers who are leaving work, but somehow they still don't learn from it.

The escalator thing bothers me a little also, but it's pretty easy to make your way past them.

This is one of my hates but even worse are those that try and sell you something while you are eating in a restaurant. I love Le Katai as a restaurant but most days i'm sat there trying to eat and some prat wants to sell me something WTF am i going to look through his crap while i'm half way through my steak. I'm surprised the restaurant owners don't stop it.

Reminds me of the Seinfeld line.

Yes I am interested, tell you what, I'll come round to your place later to discuss buying something. What time do you eat?
