Soi 2 construction noise

Hi there. Due to the amount of construction in Soi 2 I am a bit wary of booking there. Can anyone update me as to how things are going in the area?

i have booked for February next year and am 50/50 for a quick dash over in October this year and i will be staying at Sabai lodge , I read on another forum that although construction is going on in the hotel their is minimal noise.

 

I have always found the staff to be very helpful , ring them or send an email and say you are booking but are aware of the construction. If it proves too noisy you want a room change or will check out early, they have always been very accommodating for any request i have made in the past.

They are currently destroying the last bar complex @ Soi 2 / 2nd Road.

Even though I stay down Soi 1/2/3,never really frequented those bars.In any case there are plenty of bars on Second Road stretching from Soi 1 right down to Soi 5,and across the road.There will never be a shortage of bars in Pattaya.

No sure where you got that info. All the bars between 2/3 are totally intact as are the bars over the road from the Honeypot as well as those half way down 3. Its only the bars nearer town around soi 5 that have gone.

Thanks for clearing that up teelack ... I just read somewhere that they were supposedly being demolished, unless I read it wrong.

 

Glad they are not .. back in 4 weeks, and staying that end of town.

Hi there Spud. I will be there in 2 weeks. I like that end of town as well so have decided on the Sabai Resort. Near enough to the area but far enough away from the construction.
