A good start would be to get to FLB & join one of their/Adam's bar crawls.

 

Kudos if it's your first trip and you make it that far without getting waylaid by some girl (or guy or some guy that looks like a girl or....). :)

 

Seriously, though, get to FLB, introduce yourself, get on a crawl or else just wander around Walking your first time out. You won't get far before you end up going in one of the bars or gogos.

Thats the best advice possible. I accidentally stumbled across Pattaya and was totally overwhelmed by the place on my first night as hadn't done any research. Thankfully a friendly guy in a bar who spotted my wide eyes and open mouth brought me up to speed wih the basics that got me through that trip - although I made a few newbie mistake.

 

Before the second trip I read as much as I could and enjoyed myself much more.

I agree with Voracious.

 

Get to one of Hammers crawls and you will meet some friendly people. Get to know a couple of people, ask questions, you'll get plenty of advice. :)

Was on another topic but doesn't seem to work from there now.

 

It was the first bar i went in on my first trip and all the staff made me feel at home, which was good as i had been wandering around thinking what the hell am i doing here for an hour.

 

Definitely recommend the bar and go go crawls, would never have been in some of the places without them.

 

28 days and will be back for more

The FLB, where the crawls start, is on Walking Street. Keep walking down Walking Street and it will be on your right hand side just past the big tree

yup , best intro to pattaya's nitelife is to get to the crawls. Depending on which wednesday you are there , your life will take a different turn if you went to a different crawl!
