Killing those 52 innocent was a crime, and the way to deal with it is NOT to kill one another innocent on the go, kill the killer. Because killing innocents creates extremists who kill innocents and the cycle never end.

So obviously the 4 extremists aim was to perpetuate extremism to kill more innocents.

So they got what they wanted.

Why aren't you railing against them, they caused mayhem and misery for such a large number.

You are focussing on an unfortuante incident involving the security forces and one innocent person, in effect, an accident.

Apparently strapping explosives to yourself and blowing limbs off people on London transport is not the major issue to you.

I feel bad for every innocent soul that was lost because the stupidity of a carless angry criminal animal, and I don’t differentiate between victims or criminals, I never tried to find excuse for either to justify their crimes. The only way to make and maintain peace in the world is justice with everybody.

Then learn to discriminate between what are extremely unfortunate accidents, and acts of clear terrorism.

Had the initial acts of terrorism not occurred, the unfortunate killing of Menezes would not have happened.

sorry, I can't justify a crime with another one.

How about intent?

The police did not get up that morning with the intention of killing anyone.

The terrorists got up with the intention of killing, maiming, creating widows, widowers and carnage, invalids and broken hearts.

Getting back to the original post.....

I am surprised that the police took any notice and actually bothered to act. Obviously the Tourist Police on Walking Street.

A couple of years ago I was seated in the Toy Bar, the bar on the corner of Soi 2 that blasts the terrible rock music out from their band. Not a usual place I frequent.

Three middle aged falangs, standing at the bar are having a conversation that is getting heated. The middle guy gesticulates. I spot, a very real looking, what I knew to be a Colt 45 pistol in his waste band. I thought fuck! Their conversation carries on and I start drinking up. Thirty seconds later he pulls the gun. Starts pointing it around the bar at customers, pausing his aim at every second or third person. This was the first time that most became aware of the gun. He placed it back in his waste band. I fucked off sharpish. I went to Sabai Lodge reception. Receptionist rang police and told them what happened then passed phone to me. I gave descriptions, what happened, confirmed who I was etc.

Half hour later, I walked past Toy Bar. No police. Next morning I asked girls I knew in bars to either side, guess what? no police ever came!

Soi 2 must be too far from walking Street Tourist Police!

Regards,
