I have used on-line credit card in the past to pay for my I -2 -Call time and there has been no issues. With a couple of days left before card expires it just wont work for me. I have the web site(it was provided by their customer service) but every time I try to get a one time code it says that this is not available and to try again later. There is a pop up stating that there had been some hacking and perhaps this is the issue and its suspended its on line payment system. I would appreciate if someone can try this for me and see what response they get.

With thanks.

I couldn't find a way on the internet to buy time for 1-2-call from The Bangkok Bank website, so I have always had to do it with telephone banking.

It takes forever and you have to pay attention as there are so many 'For this press 3' options.

I don't use the credit card though, I use my ATM card.

The banks will not open until Tuesday so perhaps a card near expiry is already blocked. :clueless

12 Call have a service where you can pay 30 baht a month to extend the expiry time of your SIM card. I have used it when I have been going to Philoippines for a couple of months. You dont get any call usage for the money, just an extension of time. 100 baht will only get you a short extension of time, I put 500 on mine a couple of days ago and got + 6 weeks.

You don't need to pay just ask somebody who have enough validity to send to your SIM... *140

Arn't they just sending you more money to make calls, not giving you extra time before expiry? I thought that them sending money was no different to you going and putting extra baht onto the card yourself?

Not wishing to be perdantic but I just tried after seeing your message and it worked for me again.

There was no message spoken just a sms message to say the operation was completed.

I would try again

Still, the point he was making is that a 100b (approx 3.27 USD) topup costs over 180b (5.99 USD).

I tried it and got to the shopping cart display, but I wasn't about to go further.

I believe the extra ammount is for the first time you use the service, after you have bought once the price is less, I am in the UK and it is a service I use from here, for convenience, if I were in Thailand then I would not dream of using it, I put on 800 bt and it costs roughly £17 so its not to bad.

I was only trying to give some information on how it could be done.

I charge 200 baht for a100 baht tester on my site.

The more you top up the cheaper it gets.

Paypal make a big charge of 4.5% plus 35 baht per transaction. So on 100 baht that's about 40 baht in charges.

That will also be why the other guy charges $6 my site is all in baht and Paypal use the banks middle rates plus 2.5% on currency conversion.
