Where's the fucking Bacon?

For fuck sake is there anybody in South East Asia that knows how to Butcher a Pig?

I want my Bacon Rashers now.

All you Muppets serving up breakfasts should be shot.

Nice lean rashers of bacon with some toasted bread and HP Sauce.

Is that too much to ask for?

Anybody that wants to start up an Egg and Bacon Shop, give me a call

Medallions are nice but I like the full Rasher.

And what about the fucking Sausages? I used to eat trhose Thai sausages that they fill with rice? You know the ones. They drive around selling them. Fucking horrible. Look good when you're pissed but you might as well eat the plastic tray as far as taste goes..

Time to come home I think.

I buy a kilo of good middle bacon and good pork sausages from the pig and whistle soi 7, they have their own butchers upstairs. 250 baht a kilo. You wont find good stuff in the Philippines

For anyone confused about what a bacon rasher is, here's a picture google pulled up.

I don't remember posting this.

Somebody must have hacked into my account :whistling:

LOL. Well, I had to do some research to find out what a "bacon rasher" was, so I learned something.

Looks like Canadian Bacon to me :P

They have Canadian Bacon at the hotel I'm at. It's pretty good actually. In England we call Canadian Bacon Medallions. It's the healthier option. Basically a Rasher with all the fat trimmed off.

Good to know that I can buy from the Pig & Whistle. Where can I buy one of those George Foreman grills in Pattaya?

When I lived in AC back in 2005, I had a girl that used to deliver to the house good quality rashers and sausages. Saw her a couple of months ago and she has stopped doing it now. You can also buy from Bretto's Deli and at Robinsons but I have no cooking facilities in my hotel room.. Fucking hungry now.

I get decent bacon from Friendship Supermarket, a Kilo of rashers 275B!!!!

It's lovely, flavoursome bacon if you are partial to the streaky version which I am. The problem is is that they do not alaways have it in stock. When you cook it at least fat runs out of it instead of the water that runs out of any bacon you buy in Rip Off Britain.

I would only guess you could get the George Foreman griller from the big supermarkets, trust me on the bacn and sausage from the Pig, they make their own sausages and cure their own bacon. If you have had a breafast there, its the same stuff.

I concur. I even cut the fat off of rashers most of the time.

I don't know about that, Mick. I had to have mine shipped from Australia, but that was several years ago. I've yet to see one sold in Thailand. The one we have is our main cooking accessory for meats.
