No, they won't upgrade you however many seats are available in economy plus. I know because I've tried and I've flown KLM Humberside Ams Bkk about 20 times. Meal arrangmenst much the same as any other airlines, about 1hr into the flight form Ams you get a drink and then a meal, and about 2hrs from BKK you get a cooked breakfast.

They all pretty much do the same thing mate, well on these long hauls they do.

You get a meal soon after take-off, after a drink.

And breakfast is rolled out to be done with before landing.

But with KLM now you can actually pre-order your meal on board for an extra £10-12.

There is a 'Your Meal On Board' option in the booking process.

lovely, thanks Gentlemen.

i was gonna pre book my seat just behind the econ plus and hope to switch seats but thats that idea out of window.

They want £100 plus EXTRA for i think about 3'' of leg room and 3' more recline!

For £10 an hour i will suffer. (10 hour flight £100)

£57 for exit row seems a better bet IMHO but still fucking dear to a mean bastard like me.

:lsmile Just think what 2500 baht will get you in LOS??? ha ha :lsmile

more than 12 inches of legroom thats for sure!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks for info.!!!

grimsby, it depends how big a person you are, if you are in the 5.9" size; economy should be fine for you. I have not flown KLM but £57 for exit row or £100 for Premium Economy, I would probably go for the latter.

Whatever you choose, have a great time, coming from Grimsby you must be addicted to the smell of fish. :)

Being Diamond in the Delta program I seldom get bad seats on KLM. However, I have seen them tell people to move back to their original seat on numerous occassions.

Ah Costa del Cleethorpes! Best Fish & Chips in the UK (IMHO) and quite possibly in the World, at Steel's Cornerhouse restaurant ! Also a rather large number of quite horrific "in the looks department" womenfolk !
